IMMUNE HEALTH PPA PET SUPPLEMENT COMPLEX INGREDIENTS

Intesto–Guard™ provides pets with powerful triple protection using 3 main ingredients: Our Prebiotics which are Specialized yeast derivatives (Beta Glucans‚ Mannan Oligosaccharides etc)‚ Probiotics and IGY Antibodies. Learn more about how it works below.

SPECIALIZED YEAST DERIVATIVES (PREBIOTICS)

• MOS

The yeast cell wall is made up of a series of layers above which is a protective coating made up of several compounds which once liberated‚ provide a wide variety of health benefits to humans and animals. MANNAN OLIGOSACCHARIDES or MOS has the ability to bind to the PILI of certain disease causing bacteria such as E Coli and Salmonella‚ which are a constant risk for pets. These are then easily expelled from the gut.

• BETA GLUCANS

Also liberated are Beta Glucans‚ which play two major roles. Its physical chemistry allows it to bind to many mycotoxins preventing them from negatively impacting your pet’s health and performance. Secondly‚ these specific Beta Glucans play a crucial role in placing the Immune system in a state of readiness.

• D–MANNOSE

Another liberated compound‚ D–Mannose is used to feed the indigenous population of beneficial bacteria in the intestine which are critical in maintaining good intestinal health. D–Mannose also has the ability to bind to the pili of pathogenic organisms‚ leading to their expulsion without their harmful effects.

• OTHER COMPOUNDS

The end product of hydrolysis is combined with the end product of fermentation to produce other compounds‚ one of which interferes with parasitic infection including Crypto and Eimeria commonly known as Coccidia‚ one of the leading causes of gastrointestinal disorders in animals.

PET PROBIOTICS

All pets can benefit from a daily probiotic pet supplement. Intesto-Guard contains Lactobacillus acidophilus‚ Lactobacillus casei‚ Enterococcus faecium, Bacillus subtilis and guarantees 1 billion cfu/mL in our paste product and 1.5 billion cfu/2g scoop in our powder. Just like humans, the majority of your pet’s immune system resides in his gut. The gut is the largest immune organ in the body and contains approximately 70% of all immune cells. So keeping a good balance of good (vs bad) bacteria is vital for your pet’s health.

Under natural conditions pets, as well as humans, develop and retain populations of “good” gut microflora that provide adequate protection against a variety of diseases. However, dogs and other domesticated animals now live under unnatural conditions and are constantly bombarded with unnatural substances, from food additives to pollution to antibiotics that disrupt the normal bacterial composition of their intestines.

Supplementing your pet’s diet with probiotics can make all the difference in the world between living with a chronically ill pet and living with a healthy, active, happy pet.

NATURAL EGG IMMUNOGLOBULINS (IGY ANTIBODY)

Natural Egg Immunoglobulins IGY‚ are natural specific antibodies which function as part of the immune system to fight off invading pathogens in the body.

Immunoglobulins are used as the last most powerful line of defense against foreign organisms in the body. For the last 20 years Immunoglobulins have been used in livestock to enhance gastrointestinal health.

Intesto–Guard’s IGY is produced from a proven method utilizing modern technology and a unique patented process resulting in specialized egg powder to produce Immunoglobulins.

There are a variety of specific pathogens that IGY fights including strains of E Coli‚ Salmonella‚ Coccidia and other commonly seen pathogens.

IGY binds these pathogens and enhances the immunity of your pet.
